Email from Zena-dotty

Today I got an email from Dotty, I'm so happy~~~~ The following is her email:

30Dec06
Dear Mommy,

I miss you and my siblings, but my new owners are very nice! They even let me sleep with them last night and I was very nice and quiet the whole night. They have decided my name should be Zena (the warrior princess). They say this because when I was introduced to Angus, my new big brother, I freaked!

I was going to eat him for breakfast. He is so big and old and grouchy too. They have been trying to get us to make friends, but he better not get to close to me until he knows who the boss is!!!

I hear my brother Cowie is doing great, his new owner loves him. She even took the rest of the day off yesterday to bond with him. She plans to bond all weekend!

Best wishes for a happy new year,

Zena - aka Dotty

And here is my reply:
Dear Zena-dotty kitty,

We miss you too! I'm glad to hear that you and cowie at the new house are doing great there. Be brave, don't be afraid of the big brother and don't scare him with your 2nd degree kitty judo skill either. He is nice, and it is just going to take a little time to get used to. With your cuteness and charm, you guys will become great friend, and he will show you a lot of cat things that I haven't have a chance to teach you.
We are doing fine. But the house is a little more quiet now without you, blacky and cowie. Otherwise, nothing much has changed here. Zinger is still trying to convince me to lose weight and stripy still drinks milk from me all the time. Stripy is trying to learn how to send email so she can write you and other kitties, but right now she has the problem of stepping on a key for too long and can't get her message conveyed. Well, she didn't step on the power button to shut the computer off like you did thou.
I hope you have a great new year at your new home. Say happy new year to your owners for me!

More kitties taken off and health issue

So, a lot of things happened in the last couple days.

First, it was x'mas which we celebrated without Blacky. We missed him badly, and yum, soup treat is yummy, although a little salt in the soup would make it yummier. The day after x'mas Zinger took only me and Stripy to the vet and got some shots.... hmmm only me and Stripy, what does that mean? We can't fit all four into the carrier or?? Don't Cowie and Dotty need shots too? Meow~ For some reason I am a little suspicious. Well then I kinda forgot about it after Zinger treated us with yummy can food.

The next day Zinger brought out the carrier again and out Cowie and Dotty in it. Was she going to take them to the vet? I waited and waited and didn't see Zinger coming back within an hour, then at the moment I knew they were taking off to new homes. Later in the evening I saw Zinger coming back with an empty carrier. I was sad.

I started feeling sick, my lower body itches and I had constant urges to pee. But I hardly got anything out while squatting in the litter box. I don't feel good. Zinger noticed and thought that I might have "urinary track infection." So she took me to the vet today, and the vet there gave me a shot and some medicine. Zinger needs some work on her medicine feeding skill because it took her a couple minutes to feed me the pill. I hate pills anyway, they looked disgusting and shaped disgustingly and tasted disgusting...

The antibiotic pills

Well, afterward Zinger went pet food shopping a little bit and brought me back some special "urinary track health formula" cat food for me, both can food and drys. So the day ended well I guess. Hopefully I will get healthier soon and not need to take those yucky purple pills again.

Here's some more pictures that Zinger sorted out for us:

Dotty after being moved away from Zinger's lap, found a nice spot on the warm laptop keyboard while unskillfully steped on the power button and shut the laptop of.

Kitties learning how to use e-mail to stay in touch.

A favor spot for kitties hanging out.

The day of departure for Cowie and Dotty... they decided to peacefully sleep on the couch.

The day of departure for Cowie and Dotty... Stripy, the one who is not going, indeed decided to sleep in the carrier.

It's almost christmas and Frances decide to grow a huge tree inside the house (why?..) and she hangs all kind of thingy on the tree branches. I can already see that kitties are going to enjoy this big new toy... Anyway, group picture time

It's almost x'mas time! Time for some group photos before kittes looking for new homes. Wait... I don't really want to be in the picture, I'm shy...

Only Zinger and the kitties will appear in the official group picture.

Almost 2 months old...

The kitties are almost 2 months old... and Zinger informed me the shocking news that she is going to start looking for people to adopt some kitties because the apartment is small and the kitties are going to grow bigger and get in the way of each other. For kitties' best interest, they should find better home. That means, less competitor for food and litter box..... and oh no they will be gone!! Meow~ I don't know what I think about this. They've only come out of me less than 2 months ago. They are still so little!

Vet... and kitty genders!

Today Zinger squeeze all 5 of us into the tiny little carrier and drove us to the vet again. She even picked a bad day, we were stucked in traffic for like 15 minutes. Well, I guess she observes that I'm having worm again... She hasn't been home much so I guess she's busy, or she can be out hanging with other cats? No cats in the universe are nearly as cute as me, except for my kitties.... Eh.... back to stucked in the traffic part. Since all kitties are around I can't protest by peeing and pooping in the car... meow

The vet this time gave all of us the yellow worm medicine again. Ewwwww.... And then he gave us all a shot on the back. Kitties are 7 weeks old now, so it's about time. But.... OUCH!! What is he thinking!! Zinger also confirmed the kitties' gender with the vet, although it was quite obvious which ones are boys and which ones are girls. Blacky and Cow kitty, the two big ones, are obviously boys. Dotty and stripy are cute little girls. Meow.

Kitties are growing so fast thou. Their levels are beyond Nidan in Kitty Judo already!

After coming back from the vet, Zinger reward us some yummy can food. So I guess I shouldn't complain too much about vet visit.... now it's food coma time... zzz
